A DNA identification has been made in a homicide case that began nearly 40 years ago with the disappearance of a Birmingham man.
As the FBI awaits the DNA results from the glove recovered nearly two miles form Nancy Guthrie's home, a forensic genealogist shares more about the process to finalize a DNA profile. FOX 10's Nicole Krasean reports.
The Guthrie family was "cleared as possible suspects" in the 84-year-old's disappearance, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said.
